The Opportunity

As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in developing cutting-edge generative AI solutions that revolutionize how students learn, graduate, and launch careers in healthcare. You’ll work at the intersection of AI, education, and workforce tech, building systems that drive real-world impact.

What You’ll Build

1. AI-Powered Learning Experience: Enhance our Learning Management System (LMS) with adaptive learning, gamification, and peer engagement—using AI to personalize education and improve outcomes.
2. Next-Gen Career Services: Develop generative AI tools for resume generation, interview prep, and smart job matching with our clinical partners.
3. Internal AI Assistants: Optimize instructor and coach workflows with AI-driven insights to maximize student success.
4. Scalable Content Generation: Build systems to rapidly create, adapt, and deploy curricula using LLMs and automation.
5. Data & AI Infrastructure: Design robust pipelines to process large datasets, evaluate model performance, and empower data-driven decisions.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

1. Have 6+ years of engineering experience, ideally in consumer-facing startups (EdTech or healthcare a plus).
2. Bring 2+ years of hands-on experience building generative AI products (e.g., LLMs, RAG, prompt-chaining, fine-tuning).
3. Know how to handle large datasets, evaluate models, and optimize performance with rigorous testing frameworks.
4. Geek out on AI advancements—staying ahead of trends in NLP, multimodal models, and agentic systems.
5. Thrive in early-stage environments—you’re scrappy, proactive, and excited to build from the ground up.
6. Care deeply about impact—you want your work to change lives and strengthen the workforce.

Tech You’ll Work With

1. Generative AI stack: LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.), RAG, vector DBs, fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworks.
2. Data & infra: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, SQL, and cloud-based AI pipelines.
3. Bonus if familiar with: EdTech platforms, healthcare data, or adaptive learning systems.
