Your Mission

Join a tight-knit, early-stage engineering team that thrives on solving complex technical challenges and delivering transformative crypto-native products. As a backend engineer on our Integrations Core team, you will directly shape the platform’s foundation—designing scalable systems, building reliable integrations, and owning high-impact objectives that directly influence our user experience and product roadmap.

What You’ll Do

1. Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs that power core platform functionalities, including blockchain and exchange integrations.
2. Develop scalable data processing systems to accurately categorize and enrich on-chain and off-chain transaction data for millions of users.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, customer experience, and data teams to translate business needs into reliable, well-architected solutions.
4. Take full ownership of product and engineering deliverables—from conception and development through to deployment and monitoring.
5. Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and security while evolving our architecture to support rapid, sustainable growth.

Role-Specific Qualifications

1. Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, system design, and distributed systems.
2. Experience writing high-quality, maintainable code with a commitment to testing, security, and engineering best practices.
3. Enjoyment in building, scaling, and optimizing production services in cloud environments (GCP or AWS preferred).
4. 1–5 years of software development experience, with exposure to evolving architectures in high-growth environments.
5. Resourceful, proactive problem-solving attitude and comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage startup setting.
6. Interest in financial products, cryptocurrency, and/or blockchain technology.
7. Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team and overlap with core collaboration hours (9 AM–12 PM PT).

About the Integrations Core Team

This team is responsible for the backbone of our platform—integrating with hundreds of blockchain networks and centralized exchanges, and enriching raw transaction data with semantic categorization (e.g., DeFi activity, staking, lending). Engineers here develop deep domain expertise in blockchain and exchange data nuances, directly influencing product direction and user accuracy. You’ll work closely with our Customer Experience and Assets teams to ensure data integrity and usability across the product.

Compensation & Benefits

1. Salary Range: $121,000 – $175,000 USD. Compensation is based on skills, experience, and location-neutral pay bands.
