We are building a first-of-its-kind financial platform that blends modern technology with traditional asset management to create a seamless, intuitive user experience. The Role

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who thrives in the ambiguity of a fast-moving environment and possesses a proven track record of taking models from a simple concept to a deployed, high-impact product. This is not a pure research role; it is an engineering role where code quality, system architecture, and production stability are just as important as the accuracy of your algorithms.

In this position, you will be responsible for the entire ML lifecycle. You will dive deep into raw data, clean it, and identify hidden signals. You will build, train, and deploy models, and then take ownership of maintaining them in production. This includes building the necessary infrastructure for iterative updates, monitoring for data drift, and ensuring system reliability.

What You’ll Do

1. End-to-End Model Development: Architect and deploy machine learning systems that solve real-world financial problems. You will work on a diverse range of challenges, including:
2. Developing sophisticated targeting models to optimize direct marketing channels.
3. Designing risk models that leverage traditional credit bureau data alongside internal performance data to predict user behavior.
4. Building dynamic pricing and product relevance models to enhance user acquisition and retention.
5. Implementing computer vision or NLP models to automate the extraction and processing of data from financial documents, reducing manual back-office work.
6. System Architecture & Reliability: Design the underlying infrastructure that allows models to serve predictions reliably at scale. You will ensure that the team adheres to high engineering standards by actively participating in design reviews and conducting thorough code reviews.
7. Strategic Influence: As a key member of a small, technical team, your voice will directly influence product direction and company strategy. You are expected to become the subject matter expert on our data, identifying new product opportunities and growth vectors based on your analysis.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a tight-knit team of engineers, product managers, and designers. You’ll be expected to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate on everything from user research to software architecture.

Who You Are

1. A Production-Focused Builder: You have significant experience leading complex, technical projects with many moving parts. You understand the difference between a notebook model and a production-grade system. You have experience maintaining and monitoring live models, dealing with distribution shifts, and ensuring uptime.
2. Comfortable with Ambiguity: You don’t need a detailed roadmap to get started. You are comfortable in environments where the answers aren’t pre-defined, and you see this ambiguity as an opportunity to define the path forward.
3. Deeply Technical & Curious: You have a "fearless" attitude toward learning. You are the type of engineer who needs to understand every detail of an underlying system or process, no matter how minute. You have experience working with disparate systems and can quickly get up to speed in a new environment.
