About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager for AI Agent Systems to shape and optimize the behavior of intelligent healthcare agents built atop cutting-edge language models. You will be responsible for defining agentic workflows, establishing success metrics, and driving continuous improvement of our AI systems in production.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and user experience. You'll work closely with engineering, design, and clinical stakeholders to translate complex healthcare requirements into safe, effective, and scalable AI agent functionalities. Your work will directly determine how our AI systems reason, interact, and deliver value in real-world clinical scenarios.

What You'll Do

  1. Design, specify, and prioritize AI agent functionalities and capabilities tailored to specific healthcare workflows and use cases.
  2. Collaborate closely with engineering teams on prompt engineering strategies, tool calling architectures, and real-time LLM behavior optimization.
  3. Monitor and evaluate deployed agents for quality, safety, and performance issues, establishing robust monitoring and alerting systems.
  4. Define clear success criteria and comprehensive evaluation strategies for agentic features, balancing quantitative metrics with qualitative feedback.
  5. Drive iterative product improvements based on user feedback, clinical input, and rigorous internal benchmarking.
  6. Develop and maintain the product roadmap for AI agent capabilities, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic vision.
  7. Translate complex healthcare requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and user stories for engineering teams.

Qualifications (Must-Have)

  1. 4+ years in product management with at least 2+ years specifically focused on LLM-driven or agentic AI applications.
  2. Deep, practical understanding of LLM engineering concepts including prompt engineering, RAG systems, tool usage, and real-time decision-making architectures.
  3. Proven ability to define clear product requirements and success metrics in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  4. Demonstrated experience launching and iterating on ML/AI-powered products in production environments.
  5. Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and research teams.
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience bridging technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in healthcare technology, clinical workflows, or other regulated industries.
  2. Background in working with voice-based AI systems or conversational interfaces.
  3. Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and safety-critical product development.
  4. Experience establishing evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic AI systems.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Palo Alto, CA. The company culture emphasizes the power of in-person collaboration to drive innovation and build cohesive, high-performing teams.
