The Opportunity

As our AI Product Manager, you'll define how artificial intelligence enhances human connection in education. You'll lead initiatives that:

1. Augment instructors and coaches with AI to deliver personalized support at scale
2. Maintain the "human touch" while serving exponentially growing student cohorts
3. Solve real operational challenges with intelligent automation

This is a zero-to-one role for a PM who thrives at the intersection of AI technology, education, and human-centered design.

What You'll Own

1. AI Product Strategy: Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can amplify (not replace) human educators
2. Solution Development: Partner with eng/design to prototype and ship AI features (LLMs, NLP, conversational AI)
3. Quality Frameworks: Build metrics to ensure AI systems enhance (not degrade) the student experience
4. Stakeholder Alignment: Bridge technical teams with operations/instructors to implement AI responsibly
5. Roadmap Execution: Balance quick wins (prompt engineering) with long-term bets (fine-tuning models)

You're The Ideal Candidate If You:

1. Have 3+ years in consumer product management, with 1+ year shipping AI/ML products
2. Understand LLMs inside-out: prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and their practical limitations
3. Are data-fluent: SQL + visualization skills to measure impact and guide decisions
4. Ship iteratively: Experience running AI experiments and scaling what works
5. Navigate complexity: Can weigh ethical considerations, model accuracy, and UX tradeoffs
6. Communicate brilliantly: Translate technical concepts for educators and business goals for engineers

Bonus Points For:

1. Startup experience (especially EdTech, Healthcare, or B2B2C)
2. Background in human-AI collaboration products
3. Technical literacy (can read GitHub, discuss APIs with engineers)
4. Experience with education operations or service businesses
