About Us

We’re a collective of low-level engineers redefining the boundaries of distributed systems. Our mission is to build foundational blockchain technology that operates at the physical limits of modern hardware, enabling global-scale decentralized applications. Composed of veterans from high-frequency trading, systems research, and protocol development, we’re architecting a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain designed to process millions of transactions per second.

The Role

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll tackle the most demanding challenges in high-performance distributed computing. You’ll design and optimize the core components of our blockchain infrastructure, from cryptographic primitives to consensus mechanisms, ensuring every subsystem leverages hardware to its fullest potential.

What You’ll Build

  1. High-Performance Blockchain Core: Optimize consensus algorithms and networking stacks for bare-metal efficiency.
  2. Secure Process Isolation: Design systems to prevent side-channel attacks and ensure robust execution environments.
  3. Fault-Tolerant Systems: Implement advanced error correction and recovery mechanisms for 99.999% uptime.
  4. Benchmarking Tools: Create custom frameworks to stress-test subsystems under extreme loads.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Architect and implement critical blockchain components in C/C++/Rust, focusing on cryptographic operations and consensus protocols.
  2. Optimize memory hierarchies, CPU pipelines, and network protocols for nanosecond-level latency.
  3. Design high-throughput networking layers capable of handling 100k+ TPS.
  4. Collaborate on kernel-level optimizations to eliminate bottlenecks in I/O, threading, and process scheduling.
  5. Pioneer novel approaches to distributed systems resilience and Byzantine fault tolerance.

Tech Stack & Requirements

  1. Languages: Mastery of systems programming in C, C++, or Rust.
  2. Hardware: Deep understanding of x86/ARM architectures, cache coherence, and NUMA optimization.
  3. Networking: Expertise in protocol design (TCP/UDP, RDMA) and congestion control algorithms.
  4. Distributed Systems: Proven experience with consensus algorithms (PBFT, Raft, HotStuff) and CAP tradeoffs.
  5. Blockchain: Familiarity with cryptographic primitives (ZKPs, signatures), P2P networks, and mempool design.

Who You Are

  1. 5+ years building performance-critical systems (HFT, databases, game engines, or blockchain nodes).
  2. Obsessed with squeezing every cycle from hardware—you think in assembly, even when writing C.
  3. Comfortable debugging kernel panics, writing vectorized code, and tuning JIT compilers.
  4. Thrive in ambiguity: You design systems from first principles when existing solutions fall short.
  5. Communicate complex technical concepts with precision (RFC-style docs over PowerPoint).
